Ages (8-10)

Beat the summer heat and get fit with Camp Asia’s new swimming program! Beginners will experience a positive and exciting introduction to water and the sport of swimming, while intermediate and advanced swimmers will develop and improve their swimming technique and endurance in Stamford American School’s 25m private swimming pool.

Swimming classes not only help improve fitness levels but develop essential life skills, including teamwork, coordination, self-confidence, and competitiveness. This experience will help instill values that will benefit young athletes on and off the pool long after their days at Camp Asia.

Coaches will be conducting a level test during the first lesson, to assign swimmers into 3 different levels:

Beginner: swimmers will learn fundamentals, submersion, star back float and more.

Intermediate: swimmers will learn freestyle, kick on kickboard, floating and more.

Advanced: swimmers will learn advanced techniques such as backstroke, diving and more.

Please note for safeguard reasons, children will need to dress themselves in and out of their swimsuit each lesson without the help of coaches or staff.

Please note all camps are conducted in English.

*To ensure children’s health and safety, we have First Aid, and CPR trained lifeguards overseeing activities at the pool during all swimming lessons to rapidly assist swimmers in or out of the water in case of emergency.

“This was the first summer camp experience in Hong Kong for my kids (6 & 8 years old). They had a good time, especially the younger one in multi-activity, where the class included a good mix of learning, fun, and sports activities. I felt confident that they were in a safe and friendly environment, and it was an added bonus I got updates with pictures everyday.” - Jeannett, Mom of 6 & 8-year-olds
