Coding II (AM Camp)
Please note all Coding Camps are conducted by Cobo Academy and conducted in English.
Minecraft Creator (Education Edition): Jul 6 - 10 (Week 2) or Jul 27 - 31 (Week 5)
We’ll challenge your child to build their own interactive 3D world. Not only will they learn how to make weapons and characters, but they’ll also learn how to visualize physics and chemistry along the way! With Minecraft, you can simulate magnets, circuits, a gladiator and more! Despite being a game, Minecraft is a place with absolute creative freedom. We’ ll also pair up Minecraft with MakeCode, where kids can write programs to automate the construction of structures. What’s more? Kids will build circuits and game contraptions for their friends to explore!
In this interactive camp, we’ll have lots of fun with storytelling, science, design and structures.
Device required: iPad / Macbook / PC + charger with Minecraft Education installed (Devices can be borrowed on campus)
AI Fundamentals: Jul 20 - 24 (week 4)
Join this course to create cool stories, games and animations that help your child hone their algorithmic and sequential thinking, while they understand and apply fundamental programming concepts like loops, conditions and variables - all through a block-based programming interface, as they practice their typing skills & computational awareness.
What's more? From hearing & translating text/speech (Speech & Optical Character Recognition) to using computer vision to identify objects, emotions & brands to even detecting whether you're wearing a mask through the camera, students get to explore artificial intelligence, training data and how machines use information to learn & predict results on their own!
Full-Day Camp Option
PM Camp is available for campers who prefer to join a full-day camp from 9:00 - 15:30 (AM + PM Camp). Please note that students will be required to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day of the program, and there will be no access to refrigeration or microwaves. Staff members will supervise children during the lunch break, which will take place from 12:00 to 12:30.
All camps are conducted in English.
“My son enjoyed the Multi-Sport and Coding camp so much, he just didn't want it to end! We have friends who planned to join for one week only, enjoyed it so much, instantly registered for the second week, if not their school started earlier, would have joined the third week as well.” - Anson, dad of 9-year-old
Through Minecraft Education, children were inspired to create their own interactive 3D worlds while exploring coding, physics, and chemistry throughout the week. They also integrated Minecraft with MakeCode to design automated structures and build circuits and game contraptions for their friends to explore. This made it a fun and engaging hands-on learning tool for young children to learn coding.
Our young coders had an amazing time learning coding logic and programming the robot, Codey Rocky.
From grasping the fundamentals of variables and conditional statements to programming the robot to navigate and avoid obstacles autonomously, the learning process with the interactive robot was engaging and so much fun!

Campers will check in indoors on the ground floor of the Stamford campus. At the entrance, Camp Asia staff will be handing out pick-up cards to caretakers. We ask caregivers who are dropping off children not to enter the campus.
We have a nurse on site for all camps and our Camp Asia team members are first-aid trained.
We offer a highly convenient shuttle bus service from Yau Ma Tei and Ho Man Tin MTR stations at a low rate of $100 per week for the morning camps. Please note the availability is first come first served.
