Creative Communications
Who said communication wasn’t creative? Going beyond traditional media, this camp will allow your child to explore their creative side while developing communication skills.
Each day your child will have a variety of fun activities, including writing, drama games, improv, video editing & story publishing, music, and more! Campers will develop their communication abilities while having a blast, unlocking their full creative potential. Learning new communication skills has never been more fun!
Programs are designed to be unique each holiday season (summer, winter, and spring). Your child can enroll in the same camp multiple times and experience new activities and themes. Please note all camps are conducted in English.
PM Multi-Sport Camp is available for campers who prefer to join a full-day camp from 9:00 - 16:00 (AM + PM Camp). Please note that students will be required to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day of the program, and there will be no access to refrigeration or microwaves. Staff members will supervise children during the lunch break, which will take place from 12:00 to 12:45.
"Eloise attended the Multi-Activity camp and had a fantastic time. She is at Local school in SG and after mixing with the international school crowd I could see her grow in confidence and she was more independent after camp. She can't wait for the next holiday!"
The group looked at Found Poems, a creative style of writing poems where the students use primary reading texts to find words or phrases that stand out to them. They then used these words and phrases to structure a poem, read and presented their found poems to the class.
Our young writers used dramatic conventions, such as freeze frames, hot seating, movement, levels, etc, to dramatize the script they wrote. Using Garageband, they then created their own backing track, exploring musical devices such as texture, instrumentation, and structure.
Last but not least, students worked as groups to record their poetry slam into their backing track and explored editing techniques to create their very own recording. Students developed planning, writing, and presentation skills throughout the project, and most importantly, they were able to express their unique ideas and creativity in the final product.
