3D Design Innovators
Think it. Test it. Trigger it.
This isn’t just 3D design—it’s 3D thinking in motion. In 3D Design Engineers, students dive into the world of mechanical creativity, where every shape, slope, and sequence has a purpose. Over five dynamic days, campers will master digital building techniques in Tinkercad and apply them to design obstacle courses, chain reactions, and fully functional Rube Goldberg machines.
The camp begins with core skills—precision building, symmetry, elevation, and subtractive design—then moves into more advanced challenges using logic, motion planning, and simulated physics. Each student will explore how gravity, bounce, and timing interact as they build their own unique chain-reaction machine step-by-step.
This experience combines design with experimentation, critical thinking, and storytelling. By the end of the week, every student will have created a working kinetic model and present it in a live demo during our final showcase.
Perfect for curious minds who enjoy building, problem-solving, and bringing ideas to life through movement and design.
What students will gain:
Full-Day Camp Option (9:00 - 15:30)
PM Camps are available for campers who prefer to join a full-day camp from 9:00 - 15:30 (AM + PM Camp). Please note that students will be required to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day of the program, and there will be no access to refrigeration or microwaves. Staff members will supervise children during the lunch break, which will take place from 12:00 to 12:30.
All camps are conducted in English.
Our Innovative campers were given environmental, geology, and cultural information to analyze and design their own skyscraper with TinkerCad.
This activity not only teaches them about 3D Design skills and code but by analyzing data sets, campers also develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to create designs that are suitable for certain scenarios.
Young engineers learned to use 3D design programs and designed complex obstacle mazes, simulated physics playgrounds with ramps and rolling shapes, and ultimately built their very own Rube Goldberg machines. Each creation was showcased to the class, where they received valuable feedback from their peers.

Campers will check in indoors on the ground floor of the Stamford campus. Camp Asia staff will hand out pick-up cards to caretakers at the entrance. We ask caregivers who are dropping off children not to enter the campus.
We have a nurse on site for all camps, and our Camp Asia team members are all first-aid trained.
We offer a highly convenient shuttle bus service from Yau Ma Tei and Ho Man Tin MTR stations at a low rate of $100 per week. Please note the availability is first come, first served.
