Registration

When is the registration dateline for each camp session?

You can register your child up till a week before the camp begins, subject to availability. However, to avoid disappointment, we suggest signing up as early as possible!

Is there a waitlist if the camp is full?

If your preferred camp is full, you can join our waitlist. If a spot is available, we will contact you immediately for your child to join the camp. To join the waitlist, contact us at +852 3467 4567 or email at info@campasia.hk.

What should I do if I have trouble registering for a camp?

Do you accommodate children with special needs?

We strive to make our camps inclusive and supportive for all children.
The needs of each child varies so decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, depending on the level of support of each child requires to enable them to fully participate and enjoy in the activities.

What is the registration process on the first day of camp?

Registration begins at 8:40am. We recommend arriving latest by 8:50am for campers to settle in. Activities begin at 9am.
If you arrive after 9am, please bring your child to the registration area, and our team will guide them to their camp.
Campers arriving on Camp Asia buses will be escorted from the bus bay to registration by our transport team.
Class timetables and other first day details will be sent at least 7 days before your child’s first day of camp.

Is Camp Asia only open to children attending Stamford American School?

Camp Asia is open to all children, regardless of school, nationality or country. We welcome children from any background to join our fun and engaging camps.

Can I book my child’s camp offline or through another platform?

All bookings and payments must be made online through the official Camp Asia Hong Kong website.

Are there any specific visa requirements for joining the camps?

There are no special visa requirements for Camp Asia holiday camps as they are short programmes lasting only 3–5 days.

My child can join the camp a few days of the entire week. Can I pay for only a few days of camp instead of the full week?

All bookings are made for the full week. Since a spot is reserved for your child for the entire week, we are unable to offer prorated fees for partial attendance.

Payment

What is included in the camp price?

All Camp Asia activities are offered at a single, all-inclusive price. Book with confidence knowing that there are no hidden or additional costs.

The fee covers camp activities from Monday to Friday 9:00am–12:00pm for AM camp or 12:30pm–3:30pm for PM camp, excluding public holidays. Campers also receive a Camp Asia T-shirt and with all materials required for activities throughout the camp.

What are the payment options?

We accept online payments via PayPal, FPS, Payme and Bank Transfer.
For Bank Transfer, please be reminded to email the transaction record and invoice number to info@campasia.hk

What is your refund or cancellation policy?

All camps must be fully prepaid before the start date of the relevant camp or programme.

Camp Asia does not offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for absences due to illness, late arrival, early departure and closure due to inclement weather, or closures resulting from government guidelines.

If a child is unable to attend due to illness or injury after the camp has started, no credit or refund will be provided. If this occurs after booking but before the camp begins, please contact us at +852 3467 4567 or email at info@campasia.hk as soon as possible. We may be able to offer a change or reallocate the place from our waiting list. Changes are not guaranteed, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is subject to availability.

Changes to a booked camp within the same camp season may be requested with at least 10 days’ written notice and are subject to availability.

Withdrawals made 10 days or more before the camp start date are eligible for a refund, with a HKD 300 administrative fee per camp. This administration fee applies to each individual camp booked. For example, withdrawing from both an AM and PM camp in the same week, you will incur a total of HKD 600 in administration fees.

We are unable to provide any credits or refunds for withdrawals made less than 10 days before the holiday camp start date.

Safety and Well-being

Do you need to be able to contact me or another responsible adult while my child is at camp?

For your child’s safety and well-being, we require contact details for a parent or a guardian who can be reached at all times during camp hours. This ensures we can promptly address any questions or emergencies.

Who should I contact if I’m running late for pick-up or want to check how my child is settling into camp?

You will receive your Camp Asia Site Manager mobile number one week before camp begins. They are your main point of contact during camp and will be happy to assist with pick-up updates or any questions about how your child is settling in.

Is there physical security at the camp, such as access control and CCTV?

Our camp has full-time security and all entries are carefully checked against photo ID. This ensures a safe and secure environment throughout the day.

What medical support is available at camp?

A full-time nurse is available on-site during every camp for medication collection, first aid and medical support.
All Camp Asia employees are first-aid trained.

How should my child bring medication or EpiPens to camp?

Campers who require medication or EpiPen should bring them in a clearly labelled zip-lock bag with their name, dosage instructions, and a copy of their allergy action plan with the EpiPen.
All items will be collected by the nurse and securely stored at the Health Centre for the duration of camp. Please ensure EpiPen expiration date is valid. Only Health Centre staff will administer medication. The labeled medication bag will be returned at the end of camp.

What happens if my child misses camp due to illness or injury?

If your child is unable to attend camp due to illness or injury after the camp has started, no credit or refund can be offered. If the absence occurs after booking but before camp begins, please contact us +852 3467 4567 or email at info@campasia.hk as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate a last-minute change or offer the spot to someone on our waiting list.

Camp Essentials

How can I help my child prepare for camp?

To help your child feel happy and safe, remind them that all Camp Asia staff wear black polo shirts with the Camp logo and are there to help if needed.
Each camper will receive a name tag during check-in, and all belongings should be labelled to avoid lost items. Arriving a little early, especially on the first day, will help campers settle in.

What should my child bring to camp?

We recommend a bag containing a clearly marked water bottle, sun screen, a hat, an extra change of clothes (required for campers under 6 years old) and a healthy snack for break time. Full-day campers should bring a packed lunch and kindly note that there is no access to refrigeration or microwaves. We have a nut-free policy and for the safety and well-being of all campers, we kindly ask that any snacks or lunches sent from home are nut-free.

For coding camps, campers may bring a personal iPad or laptop if they wish to continue projects at home, although devices will be provided on site.

Please do not bring money, mobile phones or other valuables as Camp Asia cannot be responsible for lost items. Personal devices should remain in bags during camp sessions unless otherwise instructed, as equipment will be provided when needed.

What should my child wear to camp?

Campers should dress comfortably with covered footwear like trainers or sneakers and not forgetting the cool Camp Asia T-shirt!

Specific camps may require additional items. Details will be shared in your registration confirmation email.

Will my child receive a Camp Asia T-shirt?

Camp Asia T-shirts are distributed by staff on the first day of each camp week during the first activity. If the T-shirt does not fit, it can be exchanged during registration.

Transport and Pick Up

How do I sign up for Camp Asia shuttle bus?

You can register for the shuttle bus when you book your child’s camp on the Camp Asia Hong Kong website.

What shuttle bus services are available?

Camp Asia provides shuttle bus services from Yau Ma Tei and Ho Man Tin MTR stations. Pick-up and drop-off times with bus contact details will be included in the email sent after registration. Visit Transport (INCLUDE LINK) for more details.

What are the camp pick-up times and procedures?

For morning camps, children should be picked by by 12:00pm, with all pick-ups completed by 12:15pm.

For afternoon or full-day camps, pick-up is at 3:30pm, with all campers picked up by 3:45pm.
Campers taking Camp Asia buses will be signed out by their Teaching Assistant and escorted to the bus.

If your child is registered on the bus but you wish to pick them up, if you are running late or if someone not previously listed will be picking up your child, please contact the Camp Asia team in advance at +852 3467 4567 or email info@campasia.hk with the necessary details, including the person’s full name and ID number.

Weather

Will camp be cancelled or closed due to bad weather?

Camp Asia follows local authority recommendations for bad weather. If a red or black rainstorm warning or a T8 signal or above is in effect by 7:00am, we will suspend morning camp (9:00 am–12:00 pm). If the warning is in effect by 10:30 am, afternoon camp (12:30 pm–3:30 pm) will be suspended.

Parents will be notified by email. No credits or refunds are available for missed days due to weather or circumstances beyond our control.

If severe weather occurs while camp is in session, campers will be cared for until they can be safely dismissed and parents will be contacted with instructions.
