Website Development – Jul 6 – 10 (week 2)
Understanding basic website stack (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Flask, etc)
Having a website that looks effortlessly beautiful and functional across devices is a hard goal to achieve. This is why we want to make “responsive websites”. Come to this camp to learn what websites are made of. From traditional to more advanced web stacks, your child will learn essentially how the internet works. This is a great skill to build their own portfolio, and they can even build games and movie-level animations!
Device required: Macbook / PC + charger (Devices can be borrowed on campus)
Introduction to Python – Jul 20 – 24 (week 4)
Python skills is one of the most in-demand skills across the tech industry today. Some of the world’s biggest applications are created with Python: Instagram, YouTube, Google, Spotify, just to name a few. Students will learn concepts and applications of Object-Oriented Programming, which is the central concept of Python and many other new languages, like C++, C# and Java. Great for data science and AI, with tons of libraries at its disposal, Python is an interesting programming language used in many applications in the real world today!
Device required: Macbook / PC + charger (Devices can be borrowed on campus)
Full-Day Camp Option (9:00–15:30)
Campers may join our full-day camp by combining AM and PM sessions.
Campers should bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day. Please note that refrigeration and microwave facilities are unavailable.
Our staff will supervise and assist children during the lunch break from 12:00 to 12:30. Nap time is not provided for the full-day camp.
